Many visitors to Bucerias end up taking a trip south to Puerto Vallarta, which has a livelier downtown area and nightlife. The trip to downtown PV takes 30-40 minutes by taxi and about an hour by bus.
There are lots of great restaurants in Bucerias and with new restaurants opening all the time.
There’s a huge array of things to do in Bucerias if you wish to have some activities planned for your stay.
Some options include Rhythm of the Night, Outdoor Adventure, The Bucerias Art Walk, Food and Bike Tour and Cooking Classes.
There are great local shops and studios within walking distance of the La Vida complex.
There is a grocery/department store along the highway on your way to Bucerias, called La Comer, that is clean and bright. They also offer a delivery service, which guests have suggested is a huge convenience.
